Exploring sounds and effects - From FS through to KS4 A workshop not to be missed! Utilising the skills of a professional sound engineer and musician the pupils create their own sound effects for almost any story, scenario or representation... These workshops can be applied to either working with one group or ensuring the whole school is part of the project in one day. We can provide you with a few options depending upon the volume of pupils we will be working with or tell us your preferred subject and we will do the rest, creating a sound experience and agenda specifically for your theme! There is massive application for this experience – especially for extended services events with talent shows! The Sounds...Different groups throughout the day collectively and individually create sounds. They can be created verbally, with the use of improvised items and/or percussion instruments, maybe there are also children in the school who would like to utilise their own musical talent. The Production...We take those sounds which are recorded throughout the day, potentially manipulated with the consultation from the children, and then edited together to finally form one production! This will be presented to the group or school at the end of the day as part of a hosted assembly...and of course, we will create a copy for you to keep! In addition, depending upon preferences there is also scope for narration by the children. Absorbing and inspiring throughout delivered with huge enthusiasm and imagination.There is excellent opportunity to combine this with a Time for Tales option...
